Walk 14 – the ascent of Krasji vrh, from a Walking Guide to Slovenia.

A reasonably hard walk to the stunning vantage point of Krasji vrh.  Wonderful views of the Julian Alps and over the Soča valley

Start/Finish – at Drežniške Ravne

Distance – 10.7km/6.7mile

Height gain – approx 1120m

Time – 3h50min

Grade – strenuous, mostly on good paths

    I am looking for the finial resting place of my wife’s uncle he was in the Italian army during the first world war. He went off to war and never returned home his name was Pietro Biagini he was born in Bologna Italy. Joe Federico & Ivonne Federico( Biagini
