Kranjska Gora, Slovenia

Offering stunning views over Kranjska Gora to the Julian Alps this quiet walk follows a hillside balcony to the village of Srednji Vrh before doubling back and descending to the valley and the Sava Dolinka river.

Distance – 11.3km/7miles

Height gain - approx 200m

Time – 3h11min

Grade – easy, apart from the 175m initial climb, and mainly on good paths and tracks.

Recommended map(s) – are either the 1:50 000 Triglavski Narodni Park map or the Julijske Alpe vzhodni del (eastern) map published by PZS, who also publish the 1:25 000 Triglav map. There is also a 1:30 000 Kranjska Gora map published by GZS
