<p>There are over 170 mountain huts (<em>dom</em> or <em>koča</em>), shelters and bivouacs in Slovenia, operated by 94 mountain clubs, under the umbrella organisation of the <a href="http://www.pzs.si">Planinske zveze Slovenije</a> (PZS) or Alpine Association of Slovenia.
