A rural ramble on quiet country roads through the vineyards of Virštanj. Lovely at any time of year but during the grape harvest in autumn must be best.
Start/Finish – at the Gostišče Banovina in Virštanj

Grade – easy; on country roads.

Refreshments on route – the Gostišče Banovina at the start/finish of the walk.
Updates to the 2010, 3rd Edition – There are no updates.
Public transport – There is only a very limited bus service to Virštanj, which is not suitable for walkers.
Nearest Towns/Villages – Rogaška Slatina has plenty of hotels, apartments and rooms but no nearby camping site. See this website for Rogaška Slatina tourist information.
