A walk from Vršić to Slemenova Špica
by David Robertson ~ 29-Sep-2009 ~ updated 24-Nov-2009Walk 10 – from Vršić to Slemenova Špica, from a Walking Guide of Slovenia.

Ajdovska Deklica, Vrsic Pass, Slovenia
The walk to Slemenova Špica is a wonderful introduction to mountain walking in the Julian Alps of Slovenia. What this mountain lacks in height (1911m) is compensated for by it’s superb position and the views it affords to the nearby Jalovec. There is also a treat on the way back too – look for the girls face, Ajdovska Deklica, on flanks of Prisank (picture above).
